If you are suffering with pain and discomfort in your lower abdomen or pelvis it may well be gynaecologial in origin. During an appointment a full assessment including an ultrasound can be performed to diagnose the cause of your pain. Endometriosis and ovarian cysts can be diagnosed.
If needed a plan can be made to assess and treat your condition with a surgical procedure such as a laparoscopy. Most ladies however can be treated with less interventional treatment plans. If felt appropriate and you wish to have a Mirena® intrauterine system to help manage your symptoms this can be fitted during your appointment.
